FEATURES OF SATIRE IN HOVHANNES TUMANYAN’S POETRY

Abstract

The article is devoted to the features of satire in the poetic works of O. Tumanyan (poems, legends, ballads) and artistic techniques used by the poet, where the author's justified anger and self-abasement are expressed in a similar way, by merging the imaginary and the real.

The purpose of the article is to reveal the psychological characteristics of the characters through the analysis of these works and the writer's figurative structure, and the problem is the genre affiliation of satirical works. The subject of our study is satirical works in verse, and the method is the methods of comparative and structural analysis, with the help of which comparisons and parallels are simultaneously made. With the help of comparative-typological analysis, the features of Tumanyan's satire are shown, revealing the exceptional individuality of the author. Scientific novelty lies in the disclosure of the satirical techniques used by the poet and the opposition of good and evil.
