THEORETICAL AND CONCEPTUAL APPROACHES TO THE INSTITUTE OF NATIONAL SECURITY IN THE CONTEXT OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE NATIONAL SECURITY SYSTEM OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA

Abstract

National security is one of the key pillars of state sovereignty, the protection of which depends on the combined impact of both external and internal factors. It is conceptualized as a multi-layered system where the interaction between the geopolitical environment, socio-economic development, and the institutional capacities of the state shapes the actual level of security.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the theoretical foundations of the institute of national security, explore the particularities of its formation and development, and assess the possibilities for improving the national security structures of the Republic of Armenia, as well as enhancing the effectiveness of individual subsectors.
